How do they work?

 Himalayan Salt Lamps are  produced from natural salt crystals formed over 300 million years ago.  The salt crystals absorb moisture from the atmosphere and build up a negative ion field.   Negative ions set into the atmosphere by the salt lamps neutralize positively charged dust, pollen, bacterial and contaminant particles. 


Negative ions also help to balance the levels of serotonin in the body, a chemical linked with mood and stress - which is why Himalayan Salt Lamps often make one feel relaxed, yet energized - and enhance concentration, productivity and alertness.
